The Saber Force lightsaber is the weapon of choice for many heroes and villains in the Star Wars universe, appearing throughout movies and video games alike. It has become one of the most iconic Force weapons in history.

The lightsaber Australia is a semi-weightless plasma blade of variable and programmable length, capable of cutting through most known substances. However, its unique capabilities make it extremely dangerous as well.

Blade

The Saber Force lightsaber is one of the iconic weapons in Star Wars, having been featured in films and real life since 1977.

Like so much else in Star Wars, the lightsaber is an entirely fictional creation. It has existed within the canon, and the expanded universe and various variations exist.

Hilt

A lightsaber Australia hilt is the part that holds the blade. Depending on the material, it can vary in size, shape and design; some hilts are hollow, while others feature an outer surface that is not flat but somewhat curved or angled.

A hilt is typically designed to fit a particular saber’s blade but can also house other weapon components. For instance, it could feature a covertec wheel that clips the saber onto a belt or power ignition switch for use with the sword.

A Saber Force lightsaber’s hilt can feature multiple choke points for the hand to rest on while spinning in combat. It allows the saber to be maneuvered with great speed and power.

Some hilts feature an offhand section to give users a secure grip while holding it with two hands. Like The Guardian’s, this section can be rigid or have a smooth bevelled surface with machined grooves to provide more comfortable holding on the hilt.

These hilts are often equipped with custom “blades” that emit coloured light and can be used in mock lightsaber duels. In addition, younglings and Jedi Initiates use them for training purposes.

Some lightsaber hilts are made from materials other than metal, such as plastic or resin. Others are composed of metal alloys like aluminium or titanium.

This type of lightsaber was a favourite weapon among Jedi Temple adepts during the Clone Wars. A lightsaber with this hilt style was commonly known as a shoto, and duelists would sometimes craft their shotos out of these materials to add to their arsenals.

Some lightsabers featured a fibre-cord-linked hilt. Although more challenging to control than other hilts, this design allowed the wielder to strike from unexpected angles.

Control

Lightsabers come in all shapes and sizes, but they all share one thing in common: precision control to use. It is especially true for competitive lightsaber combat, where timing and precision are crucial to winning the game.

Learning how to control a lightsaber requires practice. You can either train with your blade or find an online course that covers the fundamentals of lightsaber fighting.

Once in this stance, make a complete circle behind your head and deliver an ascending cut at an angle at the opponent’s shoulder. You can use this move if defending against an attack or counterattacking.
